Cosmic Wonders

article image placeholderUploaded by @TEA_Firm24
Excuse me. The Choctaw nation considered the sun to bring life and good fortune during solar eclipses. They believed that great black squirrels in the sky were devouring the sun, and everyone was called upon to make noise to frighten them away. Jewish, christian, and muslim communities today continue to find spiritual significance in celestial events like eclipses. Many indigenous cultures use solar eclipses as a time of heightened spiritual activity

This was really interesting to hear kind of the different stories surrounding the solar eclipse. I mean, it is such an intense thing. I can't imagine without knowing the science behind it, just how baffling and how, how wild it must have been to suddenly see the sun disappear. Kind of. Yeah, definitely magical, definitely supernatural

Hi. Thanks for responding. Yes, this solar eclipse, total, total solar eclipse is really a big thing right now. I've heard people are taking off from work, taking their kids out of school, just doing all kind of things. But I wanted to just basically thank you for responding
