John Wick 4 - the greatest action film of the last 20 years?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Taylor
I think, obviously, of something like The Lord of the Rings, something like Indiana Jones, but that fourth movies. TV often very, very tricky. In this case, john Wick Four is not only the best of the four, it is quite possibly the greatest action film of the last 20 years. And I know that that is a very, very bold statement, but I honestly think it fits the bill. John Wick Four, it hits you like a ton of bricks

The 4th installment of the Wick franchise takes everything that made the first three films great and dials it up to 11. #JohnWick #Film #Stunts

Spoilers!!!!

And John Wick just laying waste to all of these people in the middle of a busy roundabout. I don't even know how it was filmed. And I know that in the third film, the chase scene on the motorcycles was partly CG. I wondered at times if this might have been that as well. But either way, it was so beautifully done, and it's something I'm going to remember for a long time

And I think that if you don't create a category for them, then at the Oscars, take freaking three minutes, four minutes out of the show and give these people a mention. Because the work that they are doing is I mean it's honestly unbelievable the amount of training and control and timing and togetherness. You need to have to be able to pull off scenes like the ones they pull off in this movies

And I would have to say by the third one, I kind of took it a little bit more seriously because they did such a great job with the action and choreography and everything. Not that the other ones didn't have that, but I think by the third one, I really took it a lot more seriously because there were so many off the wall, crazy, goofy things that happened in the first two

The supporting characters left me wanting more, but in the best way possible!

And like I was saying earlier in my first swell, it's very hard for films to stick the landing, especially in the fourth franchise, but in franchise entry. But in this case, not only do they stick the landing, I firmly believe that the spin offs that are being made from this will do really well because I feel like the execution was so good in this film, it makes me want more

And I watched this movie with my dad. He's 76. And we both walked out of the theater, I mean, smiling ear to ear. And it was incredible being able to talk to him. And he's so much older than me, but we had such similar takeaways from the film. So I think that's high praise in and of itself, right? You got this sort of generational consensus that the movie was off the walls. Insanity, tons of fun

You're. Hey, it's Theo. Thank you so much for posting this and this movie. I could not have been more thoroughly impressed. And I love to watch kind of movie franchises not just grow or start, but kind of blossom. And in the case of John Wick, man mean. Let's take a look at the first movie. And now let's take a look at the most current movie. And it's weird to think how kind of small it all started

Joe Cobra movie. Just like, where they're literally having, like, samurai fights while repelling down the side of mountains. I would prefer that we don't go there. I like the much more grounded violence here, even though it does feel, like, almost fantastical at times with some of the things they're doing
