The hours are really long, though, so I quickly got out of that after a year or two working special effects. I still do it on the side, but I just always loved beauty. I started makeup when I was twelve. I was just playing at home. A lot of YouTube creators were getting really big, and I think a lot of kids at my school just got into makeup
And I think I want to clarify by saying that I don't think at any point you had ever planned to become a beauty influencer in the sense that it would be a full time job or that you would even make money or get free products from it. I think you sort of started doing it because you just love sharing your work with the world. And then it just started growing and growing because people would share me. I still don't have a lot of Instagram followers. I have about like 4000. But when I got my first thousand, I started getting emails from brands and I didn't know much about it. And I honestly had no idea that I could make money with that little follower account. But if you have a high engagement rate, you can make money at almost any level through different platforms
