The Ultimatum and Love is Blind

article image placeholderThe Ultimatum: Marry or Move On | Official Trailer | Netflix
So the other day I walk into my house and my fiance is watching a show that immediately caught my attention. And I said to her, this is the strangest, most bizarre TV show I've ever seen. What is it? She explains. It's a Netflix. This program called Love Is Blind, where people choose someone to marry after having spent I think it's something like a week and a half with them having never seen them

So bad, but soooo good. Why can’t I look away? https://youtu.be/gWlQ7ePABMM

And, like, Full Disclosure. When I walked in and I started watching that first show, I was like, there's no way I'm watching this garbage. There's no chance in h***, even if you paid me. And here I am, having watched all three seasons reasons of these shows. Yeah. Shameful, I guess. I don't know what to tell you, but that is why I'm so curious to get to the core of my question here

So I like to see what is going to happen in different social situations. It's just intriguing to me. And I like to see how different personalities kind of react in different situations. And yeah, I feel like especially pertaining to these love shows, I think people are just interested in how it works. You know, nobody knows how love is supposed to go, but I think it's interesting to see how once you put people in front of the camera, how it unfolds

And what I think is interesting about that and why a lot. Oh, Shake. I think everyone called him Shake. I think why everyone kind of doesn't like Shake, or at least most people I know who watched the show. And in general, the Internet's reaction to him is because he kind of represents the misogynistic and fatphobic men in the world. He doesn't just represent Shake. Right
