What is your favorite vacation spot or place you have traveled to?

article image placeholderThings to Do in Grindelwald, Switzerland 4k
And it made me think back on trips that I had taken in the past, back when the world was still normal, I guess. And I wanted to know from people here on Swell. Where was your favorite place you traveled in your entire lifetime? I think everybody tends to have really different answers to this question. The world is a very big place with beautiful cultures and beautiful landscapes to see all over the place

Seeing as though travel is restricted right now, I thought daydreaming might be nice! https://youtu.be/l__mdGYphg0

Hi. So as usual, I don't have much experience to actually elaborate on a topic because I have never traveled before. I've lived in Missouri most of my life. I've lived in surrounding state briefly as a child, but I've actually never traveled anywhere outside of the States, so I don't know as far as travel, but personally, my favorite place is near water of any sort. I absolutely love water. I love to take baths. I love to take showers

But it really can't compete with your little town in Switzerland. I've been to Switzerland long time ago. I want to go back and spend some time there. Just. I mean, Europe has these quaint little towns and they're just gorgeous. But I would rather go anywhere right now. I'd rather be on a vacation anywhere but at work. I mean, I have to skip, like, three vacations this year, but yeah, great question. Great question

Bora Bora

Hey, Kelly Guller, thank you very much for sharing that video. It was wonderful when you initially said Grindelwald, I couldn't help but think of Harry Potter, but anyways, it definitely seems like some place I would definitely like to visit at some point to answer your question, where would I rather be, like, bookish podcast? I guess I have a lot of places, but there is like one ultimate kind of like fantasy destination I always have had, which is borabora in Tahiti. Probably

Sydney, Santa Fe, Park City, Napa/Sonoma, Del Mar

So I'd go back there in a heartbeat in the US, I would love to go to Santa Fe right now. Park City is probably my favorite city to go skiing. That's my favorite mountain town. And then I can't beat Napa and Sonoma. I mean, I just love that area. I just feel relaxed in that area, and I'm kind of a high strung person. So that just is the one place on Earth that just kind of relaxes me

Manchester VT. A New England Autumn

Now you're just going out there to be in nature and look at all the colors of the leaves in the fall here. So maybe something to think about. But that is something that you could probably still do, even in this environment

If you're a foodie like myself, absolutely ate everything, tried everything. And then the next place would have to be Spain, particularly Barcelona and Madrid. I think the architecture is breathtaking. I love the language. Spanish is what my family speaks in Peru along with here at home. And it's just breathtaking as well. With all the different types of architecture and structure and culture and walks of life and different things like that. I could travel right now

Wow. I'm really starting to regret this. Well, it's making me wish that I had the ability to travel. Now, I'm just caught looking at all of these beautiful places online, and, you know, one day get to go to these places again, and I'll have to check out some of the recommendations here

Best Swell ever! Be happy!

Kali Gooner. Do not do not do not regret this swell. This is the best swell ever. Now, I'll tell you why. Because during Covet, I took a course on happiness, the science of well being put out by Yale University. And one of the things about happiness is that, yes, travel and making memories. Right. And so you're like, well, I'm stuck at home. I can't make these memories

Hi. I've been fortunate enough to travel twelve countries and over a thousand cities. There are a lot of favorite places. But if I had to choose one place, be Cape Britain, on Canada's East Coast Coast, Cape Breton Island. It is beautiful there. Yes. It may have some very difficult winters, but the summertime is beautiful. Spring, summer and even the fall. It's a beautiful place. The people are friendly. It's a magical place

Mt Bromo, Indonesia; Maldives; Goa; Himalayas; Italy

But two birthdays ago, I visited Goa in India, and I landed on this fishing village called Telpona, and it was amazing because a lot of people don't visit this place. So it was pretty much like a Virgin Beach. It is civilized, but it's kind of like a Virgin Beach because at a given point of time, there's just one or maybe two people. So you've got the entire beach to yourself. So Tao Ponia was fantastic

Thera / Santorini (Town of Oia) or Syros in the Cyclades islands of Greece!

So you have a beautiful view on the sea, and it's all circle like outside, and you can walk down to the beach if you feel like or you can remain on your terrace and you have got some wild cats coming to you and wishing to be stroked and you can spend a nice time just walking around or reading. It all depends on the type of holiday you like. We didn't want to have much nightlife, so we didn't miss it
