So many questions are running in everyone's head when they are off for their first impression. Let's take for an interview or for a meet for an interview. You're super nervous, and so are you for your first date? Of course not. First date of your life, but first date with someone. You get so nervous because it's all about your first impression. What if she doesn't like me? What if she doesn't like me?

But in other situations, I don't think people should put as much emphasis on first impressions as you've mentioned. There could be other reasons for why. Even if you are perfect, people don't really like you. I also agree that the first impression is not the last impression. Obviously, somebody could make a bad impression on somebody. But through continuous experiences or interactions with this person, their perception of this person who made the bad first impression could change over time to positive
