Long time Mama in Israel - talking real about the situation
So I consider myself a very open person. But I feel I'm a very realistic person. And I've been living in Israel for over 40 years, and it's very, very scary time here. But there's so much love, there's so much goodness around here. Like I said, I'm just very confused. So I thought I should just open up on that how I feel these days

I know that we hope for an ending that can result in long term peace. Everybody seems to have an answer, but the answer is not more hatred, for sure. I'm just so sorry that amidst all know the terror of know. It's interesting. I've been thinking about Stalin's quote from World War II where he know millions of deaths is a statistic, but one death is a tragedy. We need to hear voices of people, and we are of people's stories

To not be able to have a worldview of what is going on or an understanding and to hate us like this based upon I don't know. I think it's just been unleashed. I think it must have been dormant for a few years, and now it's re found its way into the world. I love the fact that your husband was in the garden, because there is nothing more sort of soul affirming than having your hands in the soil and planting things and sharing things

And even though it looks like the world is falling apart all around us, and that we don't have the strength within ourselves to save everyone that we love from suffering the same things that are being suffered all around the world, we have to know that our creator only wants to see the best for humanity. Unfortunately, there's a lot of humans who are elitist and who believe that another massacre or genocide would only cure the problems that we're facing worldwide. And they're invested in making that happen
