And when you are watching this movie, you forget everything else because there's so much sincerity in the storytelling that you are completely involved in it and you feel like you're one of the characters and that is the success of any filmmaker. So the story is about this young bride in Rajasthan who is on her way to her in laws and she is accompanied by her husband and her in laws, obviously

I watched it four years ago, I think, three or four years ago, and I absolutely, absolutely loved it. Also, there was a reason behind the rewatch, because in my college, as part of our course curriculum, we were supposed to read the Plea Naga Mandala by Garish Karnata. And the play, to a great extent, resemble the story of Pahali. And I think you'll have to read of the play if you're intrigued to find out the exact connection

And you really have to escavate and find them bear it underneath the surface. And it's really fulfilling to watch such films from India or any part of the world. They have that magical quality, the depth, and that is the beauty of screenwriting. And, yeah, the writer itself writes in a way that one begins to project it on their mind and enters that space that he has created, and he escapes his reality and enters the vision of the creator

I'm so glad you watched this movie. I actually love love, paheli. And unfortunately, when it came out, it flopped really badly. And I was so devastated because I really loved the movie. Of course, I did not understand it completely when I watched it first, but when I watched it again a few years later, I could really understand what the story was, and I truly, truly loved it. And I'm so glad somebody else has appreciated it the way I did
