Should national guard be used to protect the protesters?

This is militarized individuals who intend to bring harm to United States citizens for using their rights. And if anybody knows anybody in politics, listen to this. Get in touch with your governor. Put pressure on them. Tell them, listen, you have the power to stand up against the President. The National Guard does not have to listen to the President at every single thing. The governor could stand up for himself or herself. And that's my thoughts. So let me know what your thoughts are

Minneapolis

And I think the Mayor and the governor took the stance at first saying, hey, this is just going to be a peaceful protest, and we trust the people not to take it too far. And things got out of hand. And the governor had done the math and just said there's not enough police to control the riders. They just would outweigh the number of police. And that's when he decided to call the National Guard. And I think it made a big difference

What a mess #politics #news #protests

But to add more military individuals to the equation just seems like something that could go bad, very, very quickly. That being said, I feel like there's a lot of Americans that are so quick to judge other parts of the world when we find ourselves in situations like these, and we should reflect on how it is we got here and why it is maybe that our government has responded the way that they have. And I'm by no means trying to justify what they did whatsoever
