This is a great feature and with work from home, I think so few of us actually have a minute or two just unencumbered without any noises, background noises whatsoever, or disturbances. So great to know. Thank you

Question. You mentioned something about using the pause to pet your cat or borrow Rachel's cat. Who is Rachel? Just curious. Hence my name. Curious

@curious @rachel

Hi, curious. I love that you caught that little connection. Rachel is someone who's on our staff and she has a cat and her username, I believe, is Rachel. Let me do that in the description here so you guys can talk about cats if you have an interest. I love your username. I think being curious is a wonderful way to live life

Hi. Curious. It's me Rachel. And my cat's name is Bill. He is not with me at this moment, but he is often with me, especially when I am listening to and recording Swells. So if you would like to meet him, let me know and you can get a personal introduction. He loves

Invaluable. I use it all the time, plus...

Oh, my goodness. I use this feature religiously, partly to gather my thoughts and partly to sort of edit out the loud noises, rumbling trucks, etc. Also, sorry, I don't know if this was mentioned or not

I mean, for production, like, oh, my gosh, you've got music in the background, fade and all of this and bring out your announcement voice. Hello, people. I'm in Swell. My message today is I just like to ramble. Maybe that's not a good thing, but that's a whole different story and hilarious. I mean, if you want to take a pause and pet your cat, and if you don't have a cat, pet Rachel's cat

Thank you Rachel.

Hi, Rachel. This is curious. Although right now I feel more like confused. Anyway, I just want to let you know that you're real nice person. And thank you for listening and acknowledging my existence. Bye

Okay. This is curious. I screwed up for a change. I think I replied. I don't know. This is the second time I'm doing this swell thing. I replied to Rachel directly, but I think I guess it was meant for you. Thank you for acknowledging my existence. I don't know what else to say, but you sound nice

Suggestions and questions

Hi. Yes. I really like this feature. Thank you for letting us know. Another thing that I really like is the ability to not only edit anywhere within the voice recording, especially be clipping the beginning and the end. So like, say, I kind of just leave it and I say a few extraneous words at the end or there's like a big silence

Monetization?

I mean, make revenue from Swell. I think that's a totally valid question. Of course, because people's time is valuable. And when people are creating unique and creative content that is drawing people to your platform, it only makes sense that we as casters who are getting lots of following and keeping people on your platform have some way to to monetize while we're here and spending this hard time or spending a lot of time and hard work to create something interesting. Thank you

Cool feature for beginners as well as seasoned audio vets.

Like me, I've already hit my point, and now I'm just kind of adding onto it. But anyway, it's a cool feature, but it's not one that I'll ever use because I don't need it. I've been doing this for a long time, man. Like not in a bragging way either. Like a sad loser way. I've been doing this for a long time when I hit other record button, I'm usually gold

Hope this helps, @Hedy_Lamarr.

And if it's a response you've made, for instance, the one you've made here, hold your finger down on your swell and a little menu will pop up, and it will allow you to change the description. There hope that helps. Yeah

pauses, cats, and applause

Oh, yeah. I think the ability to pause is a really good feature. It kind of takes the pressure off of trying to come up with words and squeeze it in within, you know, a limited amount of time. Also, having think five minutes is great because you're not worried about, oh, if I'm wasting time or thinking about something swell, I run out of time and not make my point. Hey, are you guys borrowing cats all the time?

This is the second time I've heard a message about pause. There's someone I follow on Instagram and he teaches people how to speak in different social situations and most importantly as speakers. And someone else shared his Instagram profile with me and I said, okay, I'll take a listen. And I was hooked

@Her_Sisu

So just pause it, slide back to and listen back to where you want to potentially start again and pause and rerecord. It's probably hopefully more self explanatory when you actually begin to do it than me trying to explain it. But if there's any confusion, try me and I will try again. Anyway. Yeah
