Unpopular opinion: SNL isn't funny post Tina fey and will ferrel

article image placeholderUploaded by @studentlife
I'm just going to say it. I don't think that Saturday Night Live has been funny since Tina Fey and Molly Shannon and Wolf Barrel era. I think that was the peak of SNL. I think that some of the best I got, the most famous came out of that era of SNL. And I just don't think SNL is funny anymore. So, yeah. What do you guys think? Do you think SNL still funny

It used to be a little trouble stirring in like a good fun way, but now it's just like trouble stirring and like not a great way. And their content is not funny. And I think some of the guest performers that they have and some of the guests that they have on the show, I think maybe they're becoming a little desperate. I don't know. But I agree. I personally think it's really gone down after the years, but it makes me sad

Whenever I would watch SNL skits, I really like the old skits and especially the skits with Will Ferrell and Tina Fey. And I guess older cast, but on, there's just something about, like, I don't say the newest cast, like the latest cast, but when Christian wig is on or I can't remember their names

That's actually a good point. Kristen Wig and Maya Rudolph are so funny. I do like their ethnic skits a lot. I still think that Tina, Tina, Tina, Tina Fey and Will Ferrel funniest. But my Rudolph and Kristen Wig are really funny. I unfortunately don't like anyone on the new SNL Castle recently. But Kristen Wigg is hilarious. I love her

I’d argue that your opinon is very popular on the web. 🤔

Snl. You know, I think it's one of those treasures of pop culture that we're so used to that we feel it's boring. But I find also that a lot of people don't actually tell take the time to watch the episodes, myself included. And I will say this. The format of SNL is one that I do find difficulty watching now, even the older episodes where I would rather watch the clips

Hey, I actually agree with you. I think that when SNL kind of transitioned a little bit towards politics, it really lost me. I think every little skit was about a specific political political figure, and I think that they were running out of things in the world to be creative and just started bashing different political figures and really lost me
