And so I decided to start teaching myself to paint quickly realized how bad I was at it. And so went to YouTube, as one does, to learn to paint. And I have been working since then. Teaching myself to paint using only YouTube has been an exciting process, a frustrating process and a process I think that I didn't expect that has kind of taken over my whole life in a good way. So I'm curious, what are the hobbies you picked up during the pandemic?

That painting? S fantastic. Maybe I'll have to buy a set of paints and try it out myself. Very cool. Thanks for sharing

Thanks so much, Dave. I definitely recommend you can learn a lot quickly and progress relatively quickly, so definitely check it out. But I do recommend just getting some expensive supply that somewhere like Michaels or local craft shop till you kind of get familiar with what you want to do

Hey, Steve. Wow. I loved listening about you doing this, and I definitely want to check out your livestream now. Also, any paintings of dogs I am down for, and the one that you posted here is great. My dog is with me right now

The pup that I did this week on the live stream was actually a friend of mine from Grad school. It was her dog, and she had posed him with those glasses, and it was so cute. So I asked if I could paint it. I've been doing a progressive process to I guess that's redundant, but a progressive kind of systematic process of diving deeper into this world. So I started with landscapes. Then I did some animals

But that's because the neighbor across my driveway decided that his band in the coffee was going to be making cocktails, and he needed volunteers to drink them. So, yeah, I'm taking one for the team. That being said. So I've continued my visual art, my performing arts, my music through vendetta that didn't change. What did change is that one of the hobbies I took up was Qigong, the movement. But I took that up for health reasons, not for creative expression
