I think there are certain points in our life where we feel that looking out for ourselves is not the right thing to do. Like we feel that if we are not able to make the other the person happy or if you are not able to do something for the other person, we feel as if we are obligated. We feel that somehow we have to make the other person happy, even if it costs our own happiness, our own energy, our own mental health
Is selflove selfish? I don't really think so. I mean, if I don't know how to love myself and take care of myself, how am I going to take care of someone I love or take care of someone? One who I want to be with and love someone else? I think prioritizing your own self is important until or unless it becomes a daily habit or obsessive narcissist character
