And so without having black History month and things like videos and magazines or sometimes we would do our own presentations where we would go home and do our own individual research and then come back and present whatever it was that we learned or found during our research to our class for black history month, that was the most that I had learned during school about my own culture, about things that had gone on, that had been done most of the time to people of the african american culture in general
