Jerome Dees Jr Answers Questions On Selling, Business Networking & Introducing Yourself!

article image placeholderUploaded by @SpeakerDees
How to network successfully, how do I sell a product in a way that connects with others, isn't too celly, but still allows me to feed my family and to get the resources I needed to do the things I wanted to do? How do I introduce myself in a way that conveys my value, that doesn't go on too long, that isn't too short, that doesn't come off as too aggressive or boastful, but still shows my confidence?

#AskAnExpert I’m extremely passionate about helping others. Looking forward to answering questions on selling, networking and introducing yourself!

Hi. This is so great. I feel like I have a bunch of questions, but one big thing is what you mentioned around introducing yourself or pitching what you do in a way that is concise but doesn't feel yeah. Too stelly. And my question is for people who have their hands in a bunch of different work. So I am a theater artist, an educator and soon to be drama therapist. And I will be wanting to start my own practice

Because learning certain things for example, Roku have built in where you can advertise or put ads throughout your content. But they make it so difficult, for lack of better word, to learn. And there's not an actual tutorial. How do you get over the hump? Again, you can pay someone. But when capital is an issue for someone like myself, how do you get over that hurdle? And how do you get to thrive in a space where you are not supposed to be?

It. I absolutely love this question. This is one that I get a lot as I go out and do my workshops. And for me, the advice that I would give you is to take a step back, grab a piece of paper, grab a pen, and write out the value that you have to other people. I'm going to make the assumption that within all the different things you're doing, there's probably a couple common threads

In terms of your niche and where you're at, if you're passionate about what you do, I think that you're going to find a way, once again, just be consistent with what you're doing, continue to put content out there. One of the things that I coach, especially young entrepreneurs I work with, find others. Like you said, you see a couple of other people that have made it and have been successful
