Hey everyone, I'm Shomadjo currently a master's degree student in bananas in the University. I'm here today to tell you all about my podcast show on Spotify known as out of the park. I'm currently a BCCI accredited journalist and I've always been an avid sports and food. We are enthusiasts. I've always felt that sports is not just about the numbers or the statistics or the entertainment value that we look after it for. Sports has a deeper connection with life

We see a lot of their players in the IPL started with only two, Rashid Khan and Mujibur Rahman, and now it's gone down to, I think, six or seven players, which is much more than some of the other full member nations. So that's incredible progress

A guest that I would love to have on my Spotify podcast someday would, of course, be Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show. One of my favorites, definitely, without a doubt. And somebody whose life has deeply, deeply inspired me over the last few years I've read so much about him. Is his book Born a Crime is an amazing autobiography

Okay, so this actually involves a lot of research work and a bit of homework as well. I pick up a topic and then I research on that. I read a few books, maybe go through a bit of materials, and then I jot down the points on which I want to to create the podcasts to ensure that I am able to convey to my listeners or my audience how the particular topic concerns their life or society in general

Imagine those countries, players from those countries coming to the contest thinking that we are going to spread the game into our country through our performances but just to realize that there is no broadcaster because people are busy with what the BCCI is doing. So I think it's important that other cricket boards get stronger. The United States of America cricket board is coming up slowly and steadily. I hope that they actually come up and create a bit of a power

Hey. Soumarya Hi sanjodhasaid. I hope I pronounce your name right. And my question to you is, when you first started doing podcasting and when you created your first podcast, what was the thought about that? How you'll make it big and what you will put into it, that it's going to be a great fit for you. And what were the initial thoughts that you got in mind? Like will it work or something like that? Newer ideas, concepts

Hey, your podcasts sounds really interesting, even though I'm not somebody who's actually interested in sports. I heard you talking, and I actually really want to hear your podcast, maybe start watching a few games myself. I have a question. I was wondering, what are some some of the drawbacks or hurdles that you faced while you were creating or making your podcast

Hey, my question to you is who is your favorite sports person and why
@anneflorentyna

Hello @soumaryaJo99... Question here!

So I'd like to know, in this journey of your podcasting, you would have had an expectation when you would have started the journey, probably to reach so many of your audience or to learn something out of it or some expectation or the other. So what was yours expectation and have you met it? Have you fulfilled it or are you still working to achieve it

Hey, Tanjot, when I started doing this podcast, I only had one thing in my mind that is I wanted to reach out to a bigger audience. And not just the audience that was happy to discuss about sport, but also to the audience that does not really have much of an idea idea about sports, to just tell them and let them know that there's a different way of looking at things

So I think in many ways the fact that I crossed the number 200 and reached more than 202 hundred place and currently I think I'm on 250. And the fact that my podcast is being heard outside India as well, a significant number of people have heard it in Germany, the United States of America, Singapore, Brazil, all these countries. The fact that I have breached the traditional fan base of cricket in particular, I'm just happy about it

Spotify audience, because Spotify does not really tell us to suggest you, how you can use hashtags and all. So I think if I get to know something more on that, that would be really helpful for me in my upcoming season and I think I'd be able to reach out to a better number of people using that

And amidst all of this, here was a man who was standing tall against the entire world, whether it was Australia, whether it was the hostile bits of England, whether it was the fearsome paceboarding portrait of West Indies. Sunil Gavaskar was always standing there. And in many ways, he was an epitome of what it meant to be an Indian in those days, resilient defined, and yet having the courage to go out there and achieve your dreams

Future of Women’s Cricket in India

Hello, Samar. So I heard your swell cousin. I was really admire I really admire your work. And I'm also one of the people who fell in love with the sport based on the stories and not the stats and not what happens on the ground, but often. And I've always been a huge fan of the stories in cricket. We've got some amazing stories, and I try and talk about some of them in my 12th house
