How do you get yourself out of a life rut?

And if you had kids already, like I had mine younger, they're off, finished University and they're starting lives of their own and all that kind of stuff. I'm not a fit around kind of guy necessarily climb mountains, jump out of airplanes, all sorts of stuff. But there's a sense sometimes that if I think about all right, I'm going to go climb a mountain today. In a sense, there's been there, done that?

A diary once helped me out of the rut

Even if I've done that, there's something new to explore, something new to overcome or as a new part of myself or a new way of thinking that reveals itself to me through something I'm reading or studying or something I'm interested in. And so it's never a mountain I planned before, because hopefully, if I planned it before, I mastered it and it's done. Yeah. So I keep messing up with spare rooms. It's like I messed up the spare room

@soulcruzer Change the format

Clay out of a rut. I changed the tires. So like doing the same old, same old every day to prevent it from getting stagnant. Or for me, kind of like losing the plot because I'm just frustrated or I get too easily wound up to try to change the format. Do the same stuff. Change format

Walking and cleaning.

You know, it's weird because I feel like I'm not supposed to say what really is my situation. So I kind of have to relate to people in some way. But honestly, my ruts aren't really, really all that ruttable, if that's a word. I mean, yeah, there's financial woes at times, and I usually get through most of the stuff. Man is, I just focus on something else. I get my mind off something else by doing something else

Hey, Mark, that's an interesting one with the diary thing, cause I keep a Journal off and on. I've been keeping one for a very long time, but I did notice a pattern that when when I am sort of stuck, I tend to write more in the diary than not. And I guess it's a good place one to work out what's happening in my head and maybe where the stuckness is

I'm not left handed. So one that funny feeling of doing something that's not in your sort of comfort zone there, but also, like drawing with my left hand gives the thing that I'm drawing a totally different look with some very strange lines, but very interesting lines to do something totally, completely, utterly, something that you would never in a million years do to give a sense of something different to bring back that beginner's mind it. Yeah, that's it

Hey, Duan. Yeah. The thing that you said, I think that jumped out at me the most there is focus on doing like, do a task, do something something where so that your mind isn't on the fact that you're perhaps in this rut or stuck this the mirror. Was it motion, create emotion, that movement that doing a task that losing yourself in something else unrelated to the problem, perhaps that you might be stuck in
