He wanted her to love him the way he wanted her to it oftentimes she reminded her of her mother. She too used to claim to love Mahabis and had blamed her for not reciprocating her love but had never understood the daughter. As if love was something instinctive and quite distant from understanding. She came back into the room and returned to whatever she was doing. She was watching a movie. Did marriage to hit her mother unconsciously or subconsciously?
