The entire thing was too much for me because the preaching, the dominance of the Pentecostal Church and again I'm saying I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I am fine with people having that kind of a faith and following it. But when it gets imposed to you because your parent is following and you have to follow, it becomes too much torture with how you dress, what you think and how you speak. It makes me feel like a cult mentality

But back of the mind, I also felt, why these kids have to choose this kind of a life? Why are they pushed into these kind of things? Where is God in all of this? Somewhere that question came up in my mind, because they need books, they need to enjoy their childhood. Why are they getting all this? And what is everybody getting out of this? It was too many questions running in my mind, the kind of pathetic life they have to lead

And I must thank you especially for sharing such a powerful and emotional experience with us. I can only imagine how distressing that moment would have been for you and the people on the bus. And the way you spoke about your mom's strength and resilience during the time is truly admirable. And it's heartrending to witness the harsh realities that some children are forced to endure
