Because if somebody comes along, if a festival organizer comes along and says, hey, play these ten festivals, you'll make a million euros, which, by the way, is more than a million dollars. And you only have to play four weeks a year, six weeks a year, with very few dates in between. It's very hard for a lot of these bands to say no. So that's why when somebody says, we're retiring, we're hanging it up

This year they're doing four days, but the lineup comes out and it really does sort of remind me of some of the poorer quality festivals that are taking place in Europe. In that slayer, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Pantera, five Finger, Death Punch, Judas Priest and disturbed are all the main headliners. And I don't want to knock those bands because many of them I just adore and adored when I was a kid

And little by little it became bigger and bigger and they got more people involved. But it seems like in the states, watching it from afar, a lot of these know. Okay, so there's the Weimer run ones, but then there's the ones run by Live Nation, and they just kind of feel soulless to me
