Jai Bhim is a MUST watch! A tribute to Bhim Rao Ambedkar indeed!

The movie is called J Beam as a tribute to the late Beam Ravanbedkar. He was a lawyer and a social reformer who was an integral part in building the Constitution of India. And he made many laws that protected the rights of minorities and the tribal people. And I think that the movie is a fitting tribute in bringing such serious issues into the lives and minds of everyday people

So after seeing some interviews of the filmmakers and people who worked on this one realized that all the beatings that are given to money and they're not real, just not fake. They did complete justice to the screenplay. A fantastic direction. They have not used heroism anyway were in this movie and they haven't gone out of the plot of the story. Jimmy is a very good movie. Everyone should watch it. Thanks. Bye

Great recommendation, Charles. Like always I have I'd actually not heard about this movie. Probably I'm running back in time, but I will definitely watch this one. As you said, you got back like you went through a lot of emotions when you saw it so I can't wait to watch it

And I love the fact that we travel through this journey and get attached to everybody involved. And the empathy that comes out from us is very different, as opposed to the kind of empathy you get in an overly dramatized movie or something like that. And I also like the fact that it has brought to life something that I did not know of. Well, I have heard of. But this kind of really shines a light on that

The hue and cry over Prakash Raj's slapping scene

So if this was the scene that actually struck them and not the rest of the happenings in the movie, then it makes me wonder what kind of people are we to ignore the bigger picture and focus on those trivial stuff? It didn't quite make sense to me, so I thought I would share that also here, in case you had a different opinion on this, I would really love to know because I totally didn't get what the big storm was all about

Thanks @shammi 🙏 Beautiful Thought @Ramya 👏

Thanks, Shaz. Okay. As you told, I didn't do far into the review of the movie or anything like that. So this movie, after I watched this movie, this made an impact in me. Right. Okay. So only few movies like this make impact on everyone of us, actually, everyone of us, when we see a movie, some movies only make an impact on it. So after watching this movie, it made a very huge impact on me

Hey, thank you so much for replying. I don't know if you heard the same story, but I think the hue and cry about that scene was that how it was actually translated in the subtitles from what I've seen is that people were upset that after Pecastrates hit the money lender, it says, oh, now you speak in Tamil, soldier, and in all of the four South Indian languages, it is their respective language. He says speak in Tilbury, speak in Canada, speaking Malayalam

@shammi @Karthick @ramya 🙏🏼

Rarely we come across movies that not only takes us on a journey along with it, but at least with a certain feeling in our minds and hearts that is still there even after the the ends. But this movie even went a little more far and seeded conversations in our mind because almost everyone that I've talked about this movie has Googled about this case after they finished watching this movie and case is similar to that and tried to learn the history of the tribe and the mistreatment that they have been dealing with

What is basically the cache system, how people evolved with that. So I found few answers. But I couldn't find everything. And there are a few more questions I had like why people enjoy others, why people let others be happy. So there are many questions like that I had in my mind and I was thinking for the whole night, I literally didn't sleep. The next day, I took off for the office. This movie is like emotional rollercoaster for me

@Dhana 💯 % emotional for me too!

The fact that this happened recently only in the 90s, and the extent of cruelty is definitely chilling. I found an eye opening that I got exposed to, that this was a reality not so long ago, and chances are it probably could be the reality for a lot of underprivileged people who may not have the resources to come out and say like this is happening to them. So yes, this is definitely an emotional movie for a lot of the people because it's based on reality. Letty
