TalkToMe: What was your favorite toy growing up.

So much so that recently I saw Cabbage Patch dolls being sold in Target. And yes, a grown 42 year old woman picked up a Cabbage Patch Doll. So tell me, what was your favorite toy that you loved to play with growing up? I would actually give you a third, which was the Nintendo. Have a beautiful story about how my family was able to get a Nintendo back in the back in the 90s

Hello, Scharlette. I'll keep it quick and simple. My favorite toy growing up as a child was Rockham Sockham Robots. I've added a picture so you can see what it looked like. Have a good day

And then the last thing for me and again, I don't know if this would necessarily classify as a toy, but it certainly gave me hours of entertainment was my hockey stick. I played hockey when I was growing up and I could just entertain myself for hours in my backyard with just a puck and a stick and a trash can

And then you could wave the bone in front of its face and it would make these licking sounds. And then when it got really happy, the eyes would turn into hearts and it would start dancing. Man, I can't remember what I even did with that dog, but I know I brought it when we moved, I brought it and I just lost track of it. But there was that there was also those little toys that we used to bring around on our keychains

And so you would bounce the ball and try to scoop up a jack and bounce the ball and scoop up another one, or try to scoop up as many jacks as you could when you bounce the ball. It was fun back in the my sister enjoyed that. My sister had an Etcher Sketch when she was younger. She used to play with that and the Light Bright. The Light Bright toy where you could make the use of different little plastic thingies to create an artwork against the lighted background

Same thing it did probably last time, you know what I mean? But, yes, those were good days. Good days. But Evil Knievel stunt bike, and they got one for girls, too. It's crazy. It

You know, it's so funny that you would bring that up. The Evil Knievel stunt bike. It's kind of brought up in the Toy Story I think it's the last one, Toy Story Four, where they kind of have, like, this ideal stunt toy that is used, which is crazy. I love it. I have a friend of mine who well, I just met this woman recently. There's a antique mall here in Richardson, Texas, right next to Dallas, Texas

The Barking Back flipping Dog from the late 80s early 90s

You. My favorite toy growing up was, without a doubt, the the dog that barks and does a backflip whenever I would go to the carnival. That was that's something that I would I would it was a must have for me. I had to find a little fluffy dog that barks and does a backflip. When I think far back into my childhood, that's the first thing that come to mind

Hi, Scharlette. I loved listening to your swell. You mentioned that you liked playing with Nintendo, and while it might not have been the same Nintendo for me, I loved my little hot pink Nintendo DS that I had as a child. I played so many games on it all the time, especially it was like a Barbie horse game I had and Cooking Mama. And now they make Cooking Mama for PlayStations Now, which I think is really interesting
