Fear, a poem by Khalil Gibran

article image placeholderUploaded by @Shannon
The river cannot go back. Nobody can go back to go back is impossible in existence. The river needs to take the risk of entering the ocean because only then will fear disappear, because that's where the river will know. It's not about disappearing, peering into the ocean, but of becoming the ocean. Thanks for listening

The Guest House by Rumi

This being human is a guest house. Every morning, a new arrival, a joy, a depression, a meanness. Some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor welcome and entertain them all, even if they're a crowd of sorrows who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture. Still treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice. Meet them at the door, laughing and invite them in

Thank you, loved your reading of The Guest House

So it just reminds me of the need to clear out in our minds, our space for what's new for what may be not focusing on the past, but instead being in the present and preparing for the future. So I just love that. Thank you so much for sharing. And I look forward to hearing more from you
