Unlearn your experiences

And on the other hand, here comes this four year old had no trouble in coming up with something, and I was quite sure if I had asked her to speak about those topics in greater details, she would have gone on and on and taken me on her perfectly wonderful roller coaster ride with Peacocks. I came to the realization that my mind was clouded with too many choices

Along these lines, I came across a very interesting episode of Smarter Everyday, where the host is trying to unlearn or rather retrain his brain to write a different kind of bike. It's a very interesting watch. The really interesting bit is he asks his son to try the same and his son, who is, I think, six years old or something like that, is able to pick up the new skill a lot faster than he can

Great video. Great thoughts. What do you not know!

All other teams asked to race the car, and it ended up that it was a real life scenario that they changed it into race. It was actually the challenge of shuttle disaster as to whether to fly the shuttle or not. And my team was part of my team and six others, actually five others. The 6th one was said. Don't said, Go ahead and fly it. And the instructor said, I don't want you to feel bad, but, oh, my God

And more importantly, neural pathways can be formed. This is no different than us picking up a new instrument and trying to get better with it. Right? It's the same thing. In fact, I've been fascinated by this so much. Like if you look at I read about how babies train themselves like you do know that when babies are born, they actually cannot see, they have to actually train themselves to actually focus on things and actually bring things into focus and perceive site

Hi, Robin, thank you very much for those comments. Yes, I did use that example in the speech. As a matter of fact, what you heard was almost verbatim to what I gave over there. The only things changed were the context. I had to change it to match the time and situation. Otherwise, that was the speech

Hey, Xiaomi, I really appreciate this. And what an interesting concept. Those who really Pat themselves on the back with their experience. I got my hand up, raise my hand up. And how that actually can hinder you to fresh new ideas and perspectives. You know, being on swell kind of helps, too. There are moments where I'm listening to stuff, and it will make me think different about something
