NVIDIA looking at acquiring ARM!!!!!!!!

article image placeholderNvidia is reportedly in "advanced talks" to buy ARM for more than $32 billion
And for two, Nvidia has a really bad track record of screwing over their partners in business. So for them to acquire Arm and control its licensing when pretty much share all the mobile industry runs on that design is a little alarming. Honestly. Anyways, do you guys have any thoughts on this like to hear

And for that to go into the arms of a single corporate with corporate interest, it just to me, says that not everything that is community driven necessarily finally ends up in the best home. Another example that comes to mind is Java with Oracle. I just think it was never the right home for Java to end up in, and it pretty much led, I think, to the death of Java in some sense, decisions that can impact entire industries to come in the future

So even though it's not open source, their licensing business model made it the ideal choice for pretty much everyone entering into the mobile hardware to use. So another interesting piece of factor. I was just like reading up a little bit more, and I found that Apple was actually looking at purchasing Arm before Nvidia, but they decided it wasn't in their best business interest. I'm wondering if they might reconsider that now, but for that matter, I might not want to be acquired by Apple

So something I forgot to mention is as of 2019, the number of licenses for the Arm technology was over 990. So and by now I guess said that would have easily crossed 2000 plus licenses. So yeah, this is going to be a huge impact for all of them in the whole industry
