Pondering the "Many Worlds Interpretation" & then some... πŸ€”

That's just me right now. And these are entire universes, not just a different version of me, but an entire universe. That means you, too. That means every decision that you make, whether it's a binary one or a multifaceted one, you also have all these many universes existing. How does time play into this? Because I think this theory was supposed to talk about quantum mechanics, but without a collapsing of

We can see that repetition, but apparently there's also several repetitions, not just the fibonacci, that happen throughout nature. Anyway, we can see these patterns. And so I would think there's got to be patterns along some of this as well. With respect to quantum mechanics or exponential growth or many universes. I don't know. And I'm floundering here because I don't know enough about these things and I can't find answers to the specific questions

But like I mentioned in another post similar to this, I just don't think we have the mental capacity to understand, especially in these bodies that we have. I don't think we can really understand things because we are these finite beings that only at best get to live 120 years. And that's if everything works perfectly, right? I don't know. Sorry

And that's sort of what I was thinking with respect to this weird drawing above of how do we even know if the universe lasts as long as the rest of the universe? Like any sort of length of time, it could be the space of that decision being made and then, poof, it's gone. Right? I didn't articulate that necessarily, but that's what I was thinking anyway. I would love to hear more on that. And secondly, I completely agree with you

So that's why I try to think of this stuff sparingly, because it'll just mess up my head, I think. Me and a friend, we were just talking about the Matrix and the idea of the simulation theory and just even how we are, we're slowly seeing that develop in our lives right now. Augmented reality. How long before we get to a part of reality that's like, I don't know if you ever read the book or saw the movie ready player one

@MK1981

Well, I thank you so much for dipping back in because I love the visuals. They helped the movie. References all familiar with all of them. And yes, actually, I didn't see ready player one. I read the book, but this makes sense, and it kind of fits with some of my imagery. But yours works better, and thank you, thank you, thank you

Hi, Christina. Great, great. Swell. It's given me an idea too, because I've been wanting to read more of the short stories that I have on medium. I think I read a snippet of one before on here. I think I might do another snippet. I called it wrong number, and it reminds me of what you're talking about now. And it's kind of sort of based on what happened to me, minus the fantastical parts

I'm going to go listen to that shortly. And of course, to also hear, if you read these other books by these other authors, some of your takeaways. Because even if we don't necessarily agree with a particular perspective, I love hearing all of the different ones. Because maybe there's a piece of something that I want to take on, and maybe there's pieces of things I want to discard based on exposure and broadening my horizons. Right?

Just kind of like a good example of that is the idea. I think it was either him or Peter Diamante. I forget who it was that were talking about. Just like how abundance will be just like a part of our future. It's almost inevitable thing, but it's just like abundance for who? They really don't go into how these technologies might affect marginalized people and how it might exasperate and make things worse for certain people
