Mic test w/introduction
And now I'm over here at Swellcast, and I'm going to tell you right now, I had no idea about the community. Different options over here. So if I'm not making content, I'm definitely going to be kind of my best thing is just listening and watching. I like to listen and watch and learn. That's kind of like my thing. That's what I've been doing for years now

The people here are just awesome. There's so many interesting, really cool people. There a lot of musicians on here, too. I tagged my brother Trey. He's a big audio guy. So, yeah

I got one reply this morning on a particular mic set up and I found him on Twitter, because a lot of us are on Twitter too, so I do the same thing. As far as producing any music here, probably not going to happen. I want to keep it for what it is, just social audio and talking and real connections like yourself

Ah, peace, brother. I actually listened to your Happy Resurrection Day post and I appreciate that very much. And happy belated birthday. I am definitely going to check out some of your content on social media. I'm actually a musician myself. I don't played a guitar that much, certainly not as long as you have. But the guitar I know a little bit about. I toy around with the drums and the keyboard. I'm more of a writer than anything else

However, I wonder if you're open for questions, your profile, you talk about social audio and using your mic test and I'm very curious how that works because I'm using this app on my iPhone and are there mic options for iPhone for this so that it can be better sound quality? Anything you can share with me, I'd appreciate it because I want to sound my best because I like this audio platform
And also, if you really want to kind of splurge, I have a couple of mics that I use that plugs in from the Lightning that's built with the Lightning capability. I'll plug it in, check out the sure. If you can find a sure MV 88 or sure MV 88 plus mic, it plugs into the back of the phone and it uses a third party app to make all the adjustments. That's been my ace for a lot of years now. So that's about it
One thing I like about Swell is there's a ton of topics on here. I didn't know this platform even existed until I was invited, so I appreciate it more as a listener standpoint. But if anybody's worried about trying to sound good, that's not what the platforms are all about. I always tell people it's more about the content itself. It's more about the delivery itself, not how well you sound. So it's about connecting at the drop of a dime
