We weren't too busy pursuing what we loved to worry about everyone else or be judgmental. We had more time to be creative. We weren't afraid to express ourselves. People weren't so easily offended as they are now. Social rules and norms weren't as far fetched and illogical and everyone was kind of I'm not saying it was perfect back then, there were still problems but I think it has just escalated out of control today
