It's a story about a couple who are friends with benefits where the girl desires something more, but the relationship of the boy whose name is Miles, holds him back throughout the novel. As a reader, I knew that something went through in his past, but I never really knew what, but I had an inkling that something was going to happen or someone is going to die. But knowing that it was his newborn son really broke my heart
