Hello, folks. It's dustain again. Had to come on here and get something off my brain because it's driving me nuts. And I know it's probably driving nuts as well. Politics, Democrat, Republican, independent, right wing. I'm tired of all the f****** wings. I'm sorry. I am not a political person. Never have been, never will be
Hey, man, I really appreciate your posts here. I agree with so much of what you have to say. I have always found myself interested in politics, but the older I get, the more that I find them just incredibly aggravating. And I feel like it's ultimately damaging to my mental health

I mean, that's the whole point of a democracy. We don't actively have a voice. And if we don't voice our opinions, how will our representatives actually be able to represent us? They don't mind read. So I do believe that unless we indicate what we want, we cannot expect our reps to take action reading minds. I do believe that it is important to have a voice

And I've just continued down that path of not engaging people on politics and really just staying clear of the whole Lane because it is a scorched Earth type of battle now, and it just isn't productive. People aren't interested in actually debating anything. They're interested in scorching the Earth to the other side. And when I talk with either Republican or Democrat friends, if I don't check all the boxes on every single platform, then I am painted the opposite
But I, on the other hand, could give her care less. The way I look at it is that Republic. All politics and politicians have one thing in common. They all want to get to a higher office and the want the people that's underneath them, which is us Americans to vote the in. And I feel that way about Democrats. Republicans pretty much every day has a politicianal name in their sentence. Senator, Representative, what have you?
