I think running a race, obviously, there's a huge amount of preparation for that. I took a shot of my guitar. I spent 13 years sort of on the road as a performing songwriter. And it was a very defining time for me because I had a goal. I had these performances. I had this need to generate music that was 20 years ago

You know, having something in our environment like a guitar or a pair of shoes that we can see is a good reminder of, you know, the chapter in our lives that that occurred, and reminder of the journey that we've been on and remembering the not so good times, but also the good times where we had fun, we grew, we met some great people along the way, and a reminder of the resilience that we all have in us and that sometimes it might take a little bit to get to
