Bollywood Music Singing Competition

Folks, since I see a lot of people from India and the Asian background, any one of you interested in Bollywood music here? Just curious. Recently organized an online I won't say a karaoke challenge, but an online singing competition, which was a pretty big hit. I'm actually always looking for who are willing to judge Bollywood music contestants, things like that. Somebody's performances think about it like some kind of a very small scale, minute scale of Bollywood idol kind of deal

So I think music is a great way to do it. As far as what Riya said about judges, I think if any of you are interested, do contact them because this is good because one of the setbacks with RIA is asking for judges, like, for example, myself, if I were to judge, there may be questions as to going, wait a minute. You know, Rios friends, and maybe you judged them. I don't know. You gave them a higher score

@rachel come Bollywood with me, a weirdo 3rd generation Indo-American

But actually, I grew up singing here. Though I started with classical vocal. I ended up singing everything from musical theater to punk rock. So I have records out with my bandmates, and it's really fun to be able to kind of go between Western scales and Karnatic scales because of the quarter tone element has always made it so that whenever I harmonize, I've noticed in terms of, like writing music or playing with other people, it always makes my harmonies a little bit more

Video Geet Mala on YouTube.

Then I used to tabulate the scores and I basically looked at who was on the top and we made a whole show out of it. If you're interested, you should actually check it out on YouTube. We have a channel called Videogeet Mala V-I-D-E-O Space La. So we made a whole show with 15 episodes and the grand finale being episode number 15, and people loved it. So this is the first time we ever did it online

But anyway, so my thought is it would be great to have more musically trained judges with that said, I'm sure even musically trained judges would differ in their opinion. But either way, I would definitely love for you to take a look at this and be a part of it. We'd love to welcome you. Well, not me. I mean, I would love to welcome you, but Riaz organizes everything he does, everything
