Thank you so much, Siddhi, for welcoming me for that wonderful introduction that you gave. And I'm really, really very excited, accelerated to be on swell and talk about my latest book, Earthly Echoes. And to answer your question, yes, the name earthly echoes are the echoes in nature, which are mostly painful, which are the hurt and the care that we are not giving to the nature and we are not bothering about it and we are just busy destroying it in our own ways

And somehow when I saw my collection growing around the 29th or 30th day, I had a lot of penning down, which came from the heart, was mostly about Earth and nature, and then started the month of May, and which in the same group, we celebrated as Pandorathan. So in Pandorathan also, there are a lot of stuff that one of the other writer, us, who's a very, very capable writer, gives us prompts

That's really interesting, ma'am. So how many poetries does a poetry lover get to read in this book? And what are the varied themes that you address in the book?

Then section four, which is my favorite one, are the dialogues that we see floating in the environment. For example, one of my poems, the title, the Mercy and RevEnge, the sun and the moon, a caterpillar and a sparrow. So just conversations, the Kololo cues or the dialogues between nature. And the last one is Ruminating nature. The different parts of nature are crying for help in their own way and discussing with each other how as human beings, we have literally destroyed them

The more we talk about the book, the more I'm intrigued to pick it up and read it. So coming to your writing process, I would like to know what were your thoughts like during the writing process? And did you have a fixed schedule, or was it just spur of the moment for

You. Thank you so much, Siddhi, that your intrigue does bring a smile to my face right now. As I told you in the previous question, yes, it is spur of the moment, but it went on continuously for around 60 days. You know, one prompt after the other for the Napo Remo month. But other than and usual, it's always spur of the moment. Anything that comes to mind, anything that has inspired you and anything that touches your heart

@Book_gobbler

Let me take the second part of your question first. My favorite poets. So, as I have been a student of English Literature and I still consider myself a student of English Literature, having completed my masters from the Lucknow University, I am very, very inspired and always feel, feel very close to poets. Of course. William Wordsworth, John Keats, S. T. Coleridge, P. B. Shelley. Like I am more for the romantic poems, romanticism as we call in the English literature

Thank you, ma'am. It's a pleasure talking to you. Moving on to my next question, I would like to know, from a poet's point of view, what makes poetry a hit among the masses and how does one connect?

We can start teaching our children when they are three years of age, and then we can go on inspiring people who could be at 80 years and still make them realize that, yes, nature does have to be taken care of. We cannot take it for granted, we cannot destroy it. And we cannot just keep polluting it and not even blink an eyelash to say that, okay, it's not my job, maybe the government will do it

So, Siddhi, this is one of the poems which is a part of the dialogues between two beings of nature, two elements of nature, or two. You can say two things, things which are in nature. And I hope you enjoy listening to me, and I hope that everyone enjoys listening to this poem. Thank you

That was a beautiful poetry, and it made the Pichakam alive for me. Coming to my last question for this session, what is your message to our listeners and readers out there?

Why not all the youth, the Gen Z, pick up the courage, pick up the flag to start using sustainability as their way of life. And just care. Just do your bit. Not just one plastic, not thrown, one plastic bag not used. Ten more trees planted in the garden of your house. Even that makes a difference. So let's do that. And also do remember to pick my book from wherever you can. From Amazon and from the bookshelves
