Money Isn't What You Think It Is

And as I got older, I've sort of related this in the past where I began working. I worked a lot, I'll keep it short, worked a lot, acquired many money things and I recently turned 34. Now at 34 I am debt free. I have the finances in debit or cash from my bank account to pretty much buy anything that I want. And this is all through a very unhealthy lifestyle in regards to how much I work

I've donated to random go fund me, people I don't even know. Because I believe, honestly, if you have excess money and it's not really doing anything for you and it can help somebody else, why not just donate that? And I do that. So that's one of the good things about money. And it's really the only joy in regards to finances that I can attain with money, I think, people don't realize is actually just a tool

And for some reason that particular night, I remember him saying to me, he was like, you know, I know your friends are going to hang out after prom and moving forward, you're going to be out the house and in college soon. So moving forward, you don't have a curfew any longer, so if you wanted to hang out with them, you can

And I finally hit a wall after getting some information in the mail that was like, oh my God, how am I going to solve this? And I was like, you know what? I'm done. I'm done. I can't do this anymore. I'm tired. I don't want to do this anymore. There's got to be a better way. And so I reached out to this financial adviser and I was like, you know what?

🙏🏾 it sure isn’t. @Professor42

You know what I mean? Because I believe the same thing. These super rich people, I mean, I have no, it's not Mars. I can't tell anybody what to do with their money. Let me just stay right there really quickly. But there's a point when you have a certain amount of money where there's nothing else you want or you actually need. Now it's just about experiences and you can't take it with you

@Her_Sisu minor advice and thinking of things in small steps

And sure enough, I think it was like a three to four month process, they got $10,000 worth of debt completely erased and gone, that I didn't have to pay because they were riddled with errors and mistakes and things like that. Now, I had paid this company two grand, but I mean, what would you do if you had $10,000 of debt versus $2,000 debt? That $2,000 debt is looking pretty good

P K. What up, G? Been a minute. I wasn't really sure whether you're still on this platform, so it is good to hear from you. I think you were absolutely right in regards to some of the things that you hit on, especially the philanthropy. Did I pronounce that right? Philanthropy? Yeah, I think I did aspect of it, because that is where I am at right now
