So this bit is more so about politics in general and more so how politicians, they don't care about you, the left or the right. I want to put some emphasis on that, the left or the right. And George Carlin throughout his career has done entire bits where he's ripping into Republicans and then also taking shots at Democrats in another part of his routine. So I think he's one of the greatest eight stand up comedians of all time

Hey, thanks for posting this. I've been seeing it a number of times. It's it's tragic that such wisdom was put forth in such an accessible way so clearly so long ago, and it still didn't impact on what happened this past week. But you look at it and you go, of course, everything he says is right and funny and tragic

And I don't know whether that's a combination of him maybe being a little bit ahead of his time or maybe he was just that smart and saw it, or maybe I was naive at the time and just didn't see things the way that they are or were, and I think they've gotten worse. I think both politicians on the right and left have come more and more into being all about their reelection bids. It's all about reelection
