DON'T CLICK HYPERLINKS (Don't get "hacked")

Professor 42, really quickly wanted to get on here and sort of educate the Swell community. Title of the Swell is going to be do not and click hyperlinks. There's an emphasis on this and the reason I'm doing this well is because of an interaction that I just had. So I had a coworker that I haven't spoken to in quite some time, like really long time, four or five years long time. Circumstances are irrelevant, but I got a message from them out of the blue

But what I will do is I will then go to the actual website, separate browser, and I'll go to the website and I'll enter my login information there, and then I'll see if there's any messaging on that account based on what the email is saying. And if I don't see any messaging, then I delete that email or reported as spam. I'm very tight lipped about information, sharing information with people that's calling, clicking on hyperlinks

@Her_Sisu You actually can reveal the masked links via notepad. You can find true email addresses by searching the raw data of an email

If you don't have those email providers, you can Google how to find these options in your email provider. Just click the raw data for the sender and that will reveal actually where the emails coming from. Because I've noticed that they can also match their email. So their email will look as though it's coming from a legitimate source like PayPal or something like that
