Good Deeds and Reciprocation

Professor 42 with another swell. Let's get things out of the way. If you are listening to this means you were tagged. Now, 9.9 times out of ten, I don't tag people, I don't invite people to the swells. Now, one of the reasons for that is because one of the variables and reasoning for why I use swell is for reflection, for outside opinion. And this is one of those swells

Opinions and thoughts needed. Would you say these thoughts are valid or could there be something going on subconsciously?

What should you do? I think you should make it known how you feel. Make it known how you feel. And therefore it could clear up any miscommunication, because I'm pretty sure maybe there's some instance where they just didn't think that you would want them to say that or whatever. Maybe your bravado, to some extent, seems to communicate to people, hey, I did what you need me to get done. It's what I do. You don't need to thank me

But at some point, then I'm going to say, look, this is my limit and they know where that boundary is. And if they don't want to make different decisions, that's okay, I'm going to step back. And sometimes I don't even have those conversations

I have no reason to continue to invest my time, effort, brain, body, heart, whatever it might be, into somebody else's, whatever it might happen to be without. There also being an appreciation of the value of what I'm offering. It doesn't have to necessarily be again, tit for tat. But I'm not going to continue to invest if there is not mutual investment. And again, I'm not talking equal, just mutual investment

But they were just asking for something that cost money, but they could not vote for free. And it was like, you know what, they are honoring themselves and that's what I'm about. So I'm going to respect that. But got it noted, note it. And then even more so as a woman in business. The number of people that I have supported in their endeavors. Mary Kay orders, Avon orders. Pampered chef orders

Dawan thank you for your response. And being as you are my first response, my first reply, first thing I want to say is thank you for your thoughts. Excuse the notifications. It'll probably go off in this response. But you know what? I think you make great point in your response that is conveying how I feel, because I think that's probably something that I'm overlooking. If you don't relay, then people will probably assume

It's more so an aspect of just taking rather than being grateful for it. And given your response and the response from Dewuan, I'm going to take these into my thoughts, and from the actions moving forward, I will definitely alter them. And I thank you for your response. Professor 42 out

Hey, JL. Thank you for your response. You and I have connected on many, many topics, so that was a particular reason for why I tagged you and asked for your opinion. And I think you're as well on the same page as seeking Plumb

But the question that I've always asked is am I being unfair to the people that aren't reciprocating or having gratitude? And I've asked that question because maybe it's the way that I was raised. Maybe it's the way that other people were raised. Now, when I was a kid, if I got presents for a birthday or Christmas from grandparents, aunts, uncles, my mom wouldn't let me actually spend that money or use that gift until I wrote a thank you cart
