article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
Good day, friends. Pk Here it is, forecast Wednesdays. How much 16th, 2022, approximately the approximate Lee, 48 hours, two old days after the day of my birth. What is the forecast for this Wednesday? It is a question. And if you hear a this is a Sidebar like a meowing or a howling in the background is the same cat that lives behind me that I guess is still in heat

Really great forecast Wednesday. Thanks for sharing this, PK. I've yet to listen to professor 42 posts about purpose. I'm gonna do that right after this. But also, I don't know about the cap being and heat things. You might just have a common spot for cats to be in heat, but also it could be the same cat

I think that not only people don't use their agency, they may not even realize they have agency over situation, which is even more debilitating, I would imagine. But yeah, ultimately, I am 100% agreement with you. We are responsible for ourselves. Some things happen that we can't control. But what's the other part of that? How do you respond to the unexpected? Says so much about you

@PKBriggs Photo: first apricot bloom of the season!...

Of course I don't get your view very well, I must say, because you said we are determined at the same time we are leading the way. Anyway, what comes to my mind is that, for example, the Chinese in opposition to the Western philosophy seem to give very little importance to the free will

So many people are trapped. We are all trapped. I would like to change job, but the salary I get are so good that it compensates for the lack of satisfaction I can have from working in the same job for over 20 years now. I think the way work is organized should integrate this need of change in many, many people. After 20 years or 15 years already, we should have the opportunity to have many jobs in a lifetime

@dzakyem comfort kills

Sometimes comfort is a thing that traps people, and I'm okay with saying that I've been in a few situations where it was not necessarily comfortable, but it was normal for me or like it was complacency that left me in certain positions I wasn't happy about. So I mean, to change those things, I had to do things that I wasn't exactly comfortable with, but I knew it would be the best for me in the long run. I don't know

@Dee94 Ok!...

Okay, that's my take. And thank you for your response. I'm not dogmatic. Perhaps it sounds like that. So, Greetings from Switzerland. Have a great day

@Dee94@dzakyem Perspective and Work!

The things that we are settling for or settled in whatever areas of our life, whatever they are, until the discomfort is a disruption, we will remain comfortable in them, which sounds so weird. And for me, what kind of like bugs me a little still always is just yes, folks are always like this bad thing can happen, that bad things can just happen. But why waste energy leaning into but this could happen, but that could happen or it could not, right?

@PKBriggs @Dee94 Some big topics here!... Consolation: we do most often have the ressources to face so-called "unhappy events"

But there is also the notion of Providence that is an old loving God, all powerful God overlooking people and leading them somehow or attending on their destinies despite his being beyond time because he's created time anyway. So these are notions related to religion and what occurred to me listening to you was that religion. I'm not a religious person. I know something about religion but I must say and this may appear arrogant but I don't think I need religion

Very intriguing responses 😁 @dzakyem

But I think that's completely fine because it just depends on your life. Right. And how things are built for you. And I think honestly, a collection of your thoughts and actions, whatever they are, how you move in the world, that is the religion. If that's makes sense, anyway. You let me know what you think about that. Have a good afternoon
