Refresh Friday’s: We can have dignity

article image placeholderUploaded by @PKBriggs
Or you may be creating your own suffering by attempting to go backwards when you should go forward or deal with people you shouldn't deal with. Or you can think of many different ways how we can prolong our own suffering by saying yes, we should just simply say no. And there's my neighbor's building something so you might hear tapping and so on. But yeah, and I thought so when we do have pain or when people calls us pain, how do we endure it?

Respecting Self or the inner Child. @PKBriggs

That child is so innocent. It requires patience and love and care and playfulness. Right. And child needs food and it needs a friend, it needs a companion, it needs a mentor. So just that kind of imaginary exercise could really help people to see that. Wow. I don't take care of myself. I don't respect myself. Maybe a lot of us are walking around here just battered, beaten, starved smiles on our face. It's a weird phenomenon, but yeah

Hey PK, thank you for this amazing post. I will be tapping in every Friday. I need a good refresher after a long week of school and work. So this is nice. And I like this idea about dignity and how pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice. So I have been kind of like working on that and thinking about that for the last couple of years

@studentlife absolutely grudges only hurt the holder🙏🏾

Hey, Jazz, thank you so much for responding to this. Well, I appreciate that so much. Is it Jazz or Josh? Let me know. Sometimes I just do too much with the pronunciation thing. Your post solely makes sense. Your response that is solely makes sense. And you talk about something that is really important, like our responsibility in the pain and in the grudges. Right

Because if you try to hold on to that, it really is so damaging. In a lot of ways, I've let it go. Even if someone has wronged me in a way that I find to be so horrific, I just have to let it go because I can't afford to walk around with that kind of pain. But there are times when you see that person, you have to be around that person

@LadyO Brilliant as always.

They can do so much to us and make us forget so much about ourselves like our own power and how we literally just transfer our power to these individuals and that is not reality and what you're saying reminds me and anybody else I hope that we have the power take your power back I read this quote I read it like eight times or something because it's brilliant we don't need closure from a person, we give ourselves closure, we heal ourselves, the people won't heal us

@The3rdOWL insightful as always.

And for you, the little boy inside you and the child inside of us, we're always dealing with the child inside of the person that we are interacting with when we see the sweetest things, the best, the potential, the hope, and then we see the terrible and the ugly things that is the brokenness of the little person inside you. And what you said toward the end was so beautiful
