I don't do "bouldering"

article image placeholderUploaded by @PhillyJen
There was no mention of bouldering anywhere in the description, and if it had, we never would have done it. We're both in pretty good shape, but we're definitely not the bouldering types, whatever that is. It's not us. But it was going to be us that day because refusing to turn back and to try to retrace our steps, partly because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to and we would get more lost

You. Wow, I relate to this so much. I have been in similar situations with hikes, but I'm so glad that you made it back safely and eventually found your way. And yeah, I was drawn to your title. I don't do bouldering because I felt the same way. But then there's sometimes you just push yourself a little bit more and it's worth it. And yes, I love hiking. And yeah, sometimes even with the map and marks, you never know

Hey, Jen, this is a great story. Just wanted to welcome you, and it was great to hear your voice. Boy, I can relate to this. I think so many people can. And I'm just so happy that it was, quote, all downhill from there. It's so worth it, though. Those kinds of outings just give you so much more confidence, ultimately, that you can do what you want to do. But it's really fun to hear your story

A very interesting episode. I must say, Jennifer, you know, one can really panic when lost, and especially if you are bouldering and you lose sense of direction. It can really, really be very scary at times. But I'm sure you had a good adventure in spite of fact that you were lost and you had to take longer than the time that you had envisaged earlier. But I'm sure you had a great adventure. So thank you for sharing this
