Kirk Cousins signs 4 year deal with Falcons: Should Vikings fans be happy?

article image placeholderQB Cousins leaves Vikings for Falcons
So really his health is still kind of in the air, kind of questionable here. But was it a smart hire? And how should fans from Minnesota and Atlanta think about this now? Let's start with Atlanta. Atlanta has been struggling to find the quarterback of their future since 2016 when they went to the Super bowl and Matt Ryan then got traded to the Colts. And they've really been searching ever since then and really never really landing on anybody in particular. They tried to get Deshaun Watson

I'm not a Falcons fan, I'm not a Vikings fans, but the name that was missing for me from your swellcast was Justin Fields and how it's the ongoing song of what's Chicago going to do with Justin Fields knowing that they've got the first pick in the draft and are they going to go for Caleb Williams out of USC and what's going to happen to Justin Fields? It would have seemed to me that Atlanta would have been a good landing spot for four fields

Yeah, the Justin Fields saga is really interesting to watch and I unfortunately have a lot of friends that are Bears fans and I think that's all they talk about is just what the Bears should do. Fields, Williams and I just have a feeling they're going to be disappointed no matter what. That just seems to be the status quo of being a Bears fan these days
