Lakers-Nuggets Game 1: What did we learn?

article image placeholderLakers fall, but confident in 2nd-half adjustments
They're going to need that ability to get to the line in this series. Now in subsequent games here, it's going to be Denver’s time to adjust. How do they adjust to the fact that Hachimura kind of takes Jokic’s ability to dribble off the table and meaning he's going to have to look to score and pass without putting that ball on the floor

They're going to kind of think creatively about how they can do that, which players they can bring in, how they can tweak the play on the court while it's happening. Time will tell. I will say that I think based off of this game and despite the fact that the Lakers did have a really strong comeback there at the end, we're looking at a Nuggets team where Gordon, Porter Jr. Jokic, Murray, Caldwell-Pope and Brown all contributed in meaningful ways
