Maybe some people go for the midterm, but I guarantee you I'd pay $100 if you could find 100 people that actually know who their state senator is or know any congressperson that represents them. But they wouldn't. They don't. So we are where we are

I didn't really see anybody getting answers and I don't think they wanted answers. They were performing to try to get those sound bites on the different sites and on Twitter and really just trying to raise money. That's it. And in the political parties, you're exactly right. The power isn't like what you do or how you perform, what bills you pass, how you make this world a better place. It's just simply how much money you're raising

But now having more compassion, fully understanding how it's affecting people's lives, I get where the issue is, but to your point, it's misplaced aggression. It's really not the migrants. It's a lot of foreign policy that's created situations in which they have to leave and flee their areas. And just the inability for government to actually regulate housing because there's no reason for things to be this expensive
