The Problem With Woke Representation of Women: International Women's Day

article image placeholderUploaded by @paarthtuteja
Again, the people on the left, in terms of their political stands, are not ready to believe that there are some inherent differences between different genders in terms of their cognitive ability, emotional intelligence, the kind of work they're interested in doing, vulnerability, and many more. Their argument is that men and women are basically alike, but the media depictions of men and women are fundamentally different, perpetuating many misconceptions and misogynistic ideas

Here's where woke feminism gets wrong

But expecting to have equal outcomes is not a very coherent, rational idea, as there are inherent temperamental differences between men and women which results in them choosing different professions. We cannot force people to do something which they're not interested in. Now, VOC females movement is making this mistake that the culture is promoting to spend so much of energy on demanding success, not where people actually need to. Women empowerment is not supposed to be demeaning to other men. It is not about man hating

This is toxic. Femininity yes, that might be a new term you're hearing, but think about it. What do you mean by toxic? If toxic means something which is fundamentally wrong to the society, then of course this is toxic. The modern culture has made the original idea of what feminism was about absolutely out of sight, which was about making women a better decision maker, getting them to vote, to speak up their views, to collaborate in decision making of the country

Loved this. WellCast, Paarth found it very interesting. You got me hooked on it. And I loved the fact that you included about the research by the leftist association. One question I would like to ask you is do you think there is a difference between women empowerment and gender equality? Thank you

Hey, Paarth. How are you? Firstly, I should appreciate you because the topic that you have chosen, that two on Women's Day swell. It is a risky one. I believe that one. If you are a feminist, then you should not be a toxic feminist. I, being a woman myself, I support equality for both the genders, whether it be male, whether it be female
