I think it kind of pushes the species forward in a way. It's like significant breakthroughs in medicine or finding a new strain of wheat that can grow and help people who would go hungry otherwise. These things have been very successful before and very vital for civilization. I think it also changes the nature of civilization in some ways, or at least potentially. Yeah.
