It's weird that normally I'm the quiet reserve type, but this is one day of the year where I let myself feel all the gratitude, all the joy and all the emotions that come with it and not feel it and not feel any hint of shame or embarrassment. In doing so, I know I should be feeling more of the positive emotions more often than I do, and that's where my focus for this year of life and the new year to come will lie
