ADOPTEE REMEMBRANCE DAY…
It's about me and what I'm speaking about and what I'm sharing about as an adopted person. And that's your opportunity to listen if you want to. If not, and you don't, then keep on scrolling. Don't listen to this, but it sounds like a ramp, but it is really also call to action to make sure that on my platform, what you hear me say loud and clear, with love and respect is that's not going to be tolerated
I also want to add, because I ran out of time, that I did have to remove that person. I could have had another conversation with them, but it was very triggering and like I said, surprising to get that such lack of awareness about what I was talking about. Like totally missing the mark on it being about an adoptee and not about adoptive parents or anyone else, just adoptee and how important and precious it is to hear our voice and our experience
And one more thing, please. If there's any other adoptees out here on Swell, I'm the only one that I'm aware of currently. But there are any others, please, please, like, you know, reach out and connect with me. I would love to to make that early connection with you so we can continue to be a presence here in that way as well, since we have this application. Thank you

Because I'm afraid I'm going to hurt you or I'm afraid I'm going to mess this up. And I feel like you're in this position right now to just help in this area, for sure, and be a leader and be a thought leader so that we can have more bold conversations, right?
