Did You Call My Name?

article image placeholderUploaded by @OnceuponaDon
I tried to reach out. To pull you back in. But the grip of addiction was a battle you couldn't win. Your smile, your laughter. Now just memories to hold as I navigate a world that feels so cold. I'm mourn for the moments we'll never share. For the dreams we had now lost in despair. But in the depths of my grief. A flicker of light. A promise to remember. To honor your fight. So I'll carry your memory

My daughter Alex left this world in 2017 from a accidental overdose.

And when words are put to our feelings, I think it's such a powerful release for so many people. Speaking her name and speaking her story, speaking Alex into the world, I think that's fermenting her memory so that we all are a part of your story and her story now. So thank you so much
