And I think this is something you know what, matter of fact, the south did something that even the east coast and west coast didn't do so well. I mean, they did it back then, but not as well as the south. Did they realize that if we can support one another, we can extend our longevity? So what is it? Which is it? It put her from a space of the pop singer to she's now pop and she has a little swag singer because now she's exposed to jay z. She was exposed to jay z's audience. You can see the shift in some of her music, once that happened as well, had a little hood edge to it

And what got me interested in what sparked my interest in this well, in this topic, I saw I was watching a YouTube video and they were talking about hip hop artists and how none of these hip hop artists, including R and B artists, they all had help through their associations, their associates. Maybe they were part of another band
