Are black people patriotic? Are we patriots? Of course we are. We've been patriots for a very, very long time. But, you know, in our own way, we may not be as patriotic audit compared to maybe white Americans, but you have to understand, this country was built for white Americans. It was built for white foreigners. This country was not built for us, especially for our ancestors. Right? Especially for ancestors

So these things I did as a kid, and I did not understand the meaning behind any of it. I knew the 4 July was the birthday of America, but June 8, I was a little foggy on. I knew it had something to do with slavery. But as I got older, I had come to know exactly what June 10 meant. And for the first time ever this past summer, I had a day off of work for June 8

Hey, you mentioned that we were living in a Purge era in the 1919, 1920s, and as I was listening, I was thinking, have we ever left that, though? Because in my mind, we haven't left it still in the era of the Purge. It just has transitioned and evolved as resources have transitioned and evolved
